What is old to you?

I just turned 32 and when I tell people in their 20's that, they think it is old. It depresses me!

  • People who think that 32 is old seem old to me. They have no idea what they are talking about. You are absolutely as old as your mental attitude says you are. I know people who are in their 80's and live life every day as if they are capable, smart, fun-loving, and ready to try anything. I know people in their 20's who lament about how hard life is and how terrible things are. Now, who is old?

  • I'll be 40 this year and 32 is a baby to me. I think late 80's is getting old. My mother is almost 79 and is very active like she's a lot younger.

  • My folks have older friends (in their late 70's) that still travel all over the world and horseback ride, and hike in the mountains, bike across the states, play team sports at the Y and go out and drink beer and raise hell. And they seem decades younger than my parents who don't travel by plane anymore, and spend most of their time at home, and have frequent illnesses. But then my parents were never really all that adventurous or active--and I think that's what helps define "old v young" for me anyways.

  • I'm 22 but i dont think 32 is old. ...it hink that old is when someone is getting ready to die. ...old. i dont mean that in a bad way. ...but over the age of 70 depending on the person. My older brother and sister are nearing their 30's. My mom died at the age of 46. She wasnt old.
