Can I wash my 4th graders shirt with permanent siggys on it w/o hurting it?

  • get a junk shirt and write on it with sharpie, see if that one comes through the wash

  • I always turn the shirt inside out when I wash them....or tie it up in a pillow case....

  • Wash it inside out and it should be ok. My son has a few shirts like that and I wash them inside out and they are ok. They will eventually fade though.

  • My kids have shirts they get at their Jr Olympics and as tradition they take sharpies and all their friends and teachers sign them. They havent washed out yet (the oldest shirt is 3 yrs old) and I just wash them with everything else.
