Can BH contractions last for more than 30 seconds? Also can you feel them on just one side?

I got a really strong pressure that turned painful about 30 minutes ago but it didn't just last for 30 seconds like all the books say BH are supposed to. It lasted more like 45-60 seconds.

It has happen 2 more times since then. One was just as intense and one seemed a little less intense.

Also I only felt it on my right side. I've had the "bawling up" or "tightening" feeling ONLY on my right side before and been told it's just BH contractions by my doctor but those only lasted a maximum up like 20 seconds.

So can BH last for more than 30 seconds, be painful and only be felt on one side?

By the way I'm 35 weeks 1 day pregnant.
