  • I think Evolution is the only reaistic way to look at our earth (and the solar systems and the galaxies)....maybe God placed the one-celled animals on earth billions of years ago and let them evolve, specialize and become us. He started it but let the rest happen through the past history of human beings. There is no wy there was "Adam and Eve"--that's a symbolic story . If they were the first people on earth, who procreated ? They had sons. Where did the women come from to produce the next generation? Did Cain and Abel and Seth mate with Eve? Hmmm? SOmething to think about, huh? LOL.

  • I believe in a bit of both. I am not sure that it was one God that put us here, but we did come from somewhere.

  • i believe in a bit of both as well, just b/c the bible says 7 days doesn't mean 7 days our time, at that point it could have been 7 million years. so i think that yes a god made the big bang happen with the intention of things evolving from there. and we're the result

  • I believe in evolution because its a fact. Did some higher power have a hand in getting the ball rolling? Sure, why not.

  • Evolution.

I like things that are evidence and reality based.

  • Evolution is a theory not fact. Creationism is also a theory not fact. So I tend to believe more in creationism if given those two options because evolution is like believing that if you wait outside of the junkyard long enough, one day a brand new Mercedes will pop up in time because materials are there ready to form something nice. It is fact that things basically don't assemble them self without any outside action or effort.

Mmm, no. It being that scrap metal is not a life form, your analogy is rendered irrelevant.

If creationism IS really how the Earth began, where did God come from? God didn't just POOF! exist from *gasp* nothing! So who or what created God?

  • don't schools in Kansas have to teach creation? Believe in what you want..the changing of species over time is proven.
