How likely is it

for me to get pregnant on my first try?

DH and i were going to TTC in July. But life has changed so our plans have changed. But i'd rather not use regular BC and condoms are out of the question.
I have thought about other methods such as spermicide, daigphrams (sp) ect ect. But i have no idea how effective they are and i dont know how to use them. (I do plan on going to the womans clinic and getting some and getting instructions on how to use them).

  • I really don't know the figures on how effective the methods you mentioned are. Condoms are the most used to avoid pregnancy but as you said they are not an option. I would suggest talking to your doctor or womans clinic and they would have the info you need.

  • I haven't had sex in 3 years so I have no advice, but I would just get on the pill.
