registering at the hospital

How soon do you go and register at the hospital before your due date? Im 27 weeks and its my first not to sure how to go about it..

  • I would call and ask. When you are registering, you are basically making sure that your insurance information is available and you don't have to sit and fill out a bunch of papers while having labor pains. Also it it to let the hospital know about preferences about who you want in the room with you and what not. If you are scheduled to have a C-Section, you will be registering before surgery anyway. Just ask what they want you to do.

    we did it when i was 28 weeks

  • They aer going to scedule me a c-section, does that mean i still need to go and register a head of time?

  • I did mine when i was 32-33 weeks. you can do it whenever usually.
