is it normal to not have a period after you have a baby?

i had a c-section 3 months ago and had my tubes tied since i have not had a period I'm starting to get concerned

  • I was told it takes a few months for your periods to be regular again. Mine are still not regular but thats from being on the shot.

  • I think that it's normal. My friend didn't have one after her DD until 9 months later. She was breast-feeding and rather enjoyed that perk. Her DS is almost 3 months, and she just started. Was hoping it would be gone a while, but not this time.
