My 9 year old son loves rap music. I certainly tell him to change the station when I hear him put it on. I don't like all the bad words, etc. Does anyone know of some rap that I can purchase for him that would be acceptable for his age? Certain artists, groups, etc.? I know nothing about the new stuff that's out there.

  • I agree with the will smith thing. His music is usually pretty clean.

I dont trust those Kids CD's with mixes of different songs on them. They advertised one on TV a while back that had Brittany Spears "Toxic" on the CD. ...i was like OMG. how incrediably inappropriate for a child.

  • I also agree with Will Smith, although his music is from the late 80s or early 90s. Another alternative is to have him listen to Christian rap. One in particular is T-Bone. Best of luck!!
