anyone have gift ideas for a newborn girl?

the baby is the family's second child - already have a 2.5 year old toddler. don't know what to get them, since they already have stuff from the first child. baby girl clothes?

  • Diapers, wipes, some baby nightgowns(easy night changing)

  • diapers, wipes, blankets (that can be just for the new little one) if your close with the family what about a little baby braclet or something nice like that. What about picture frames, or a book with her name in it.

  • lotion/ towels/wash rags....blanket (they may have some from the other child, but this way this baby could have her "own") ...... gift card to walmart so they can pick up food/clothes whatever to help em get thru

  • A nice growth chart if you want to be creative. And a family can always use more books -- it's hard to keep buying them, and their board books may be pretty chewed up anyway.

  • Some classic childrens books. "CAT IN THE HAT", "WINNIE THE POOH" etc.

  • All of the answers are good but put it all in a nice basket...presentation matters. You could also buy a blanket and have the baby's name embroidered on it. You can get a $10 blanket and ebroidery can cost as little as $5 depending on the size font and number of letters
