  • He isn't old enough. Babys can not have solid food until they are 6 months old. Before 6 months, their systems cannot handle solids. It might make your baby constipated too.

  • No way! No food or cereal until like six months. People need to mind their own business.

  • There are lots of reasons not to put cereal in bottles. Unless YOUR doctor has given the ok for solid foods of any kind, you should hold off. Six months is the current recommendation. No reason to rush it; breast milk or formula is what your little tiny baby needs right now!

  • nope...too young for baby food! the digestive system isnt developed enough yet and can only handle breastmilk or formula.

  • Six weeks is much, MUCH too young. The only exception is if the pediatric says to put cereal in the bottle because of reflux issues. But only per doctor's orders should this be done, in my opinion. Four months is the earliest you can introduce cereal. After your baby is able to handle cereal well, you can slowly introduce stage-one baby foods slowly and check for allergies. I, however, recommend waiting until 6 months old.

  • oh good lord...she's way too little. they don't NEED solids til almost a year...if you want to start cereal I would NEVER put it in a bottle and you can start that at 6 months by spoon feeding. It's just a lazy non-nutritious way of "filling" a baby up...at this age she NEEDS the milk, not empty calories. The digestive system is WAY to young to try to process that food.
