What are some good sites to teach my 1yr old ASL?

  • FYI, you don't need to purchase anything. Just learn the signs you want to teach your child and then repeat them as you speak to your child every day. They will pick up on it. There is no point in purchasing anything. IMO.

  • I have a home daycare and I use http://www.babies-and-sign-language.com for my parents to refer back to when their child starts signing. (I teach all my daycare kids ASL.)

    Excellent videos and other products. I know they are pricey, but you can always just start off with one video. I used these videos for my first two kids and it was amazing. They both were signing at 9 months.

  • There is a group on CafeMom called Signing with Kids. The mom put a video on for members to view. It is a new group, so there will be more later.
