at what age should you worm your kitty to make sure they dont get worms?

  • I foster for a local cat shelter and we give their first deworming at 6 weeks and the 2nd at 8... one more treatment if they still have worms after the 2nd one

  • and worms come from fleas too so make sure they're always treated

  • Most are born w/ worms or get them from nursing. The eggs can pass in the mama's milk. So as soon as it can leave its mommy you can also get the first set of shots then. (about 8 weeks)

  • Monthly after the initial de-worming, especially if they are outside cats.
