&&

Why oh why am I seeing that all over cafemom?!

Why are people putting two (2) &'s instead of just one (1)?

Are they just trying to make a point of it being AND?

If they put two (2), why can't they just type AND out?

It only has one (1) more character.

  • I knew that studder was stutter but I still don't get the cuteness in &&. It is irritating and bad punctuation. Who the hell cares about Myspace? I bet your kids will grow up and wonder why their mom tried to act cute and practice the && idiocy.

    LMAO

  • I do it b/c I think it's cute && it's very commonly used on myspace, which I am a member of also. does it bother you?? I would rather look at 2 & symbols then a bunch of misspelled words && incorrect punctuation && grammar usage.

  • see like that. "studder" which if you look up the definition is a boss, knob, nailhead, or other protuberance projecting from a surface or part, esp. as an ornament. The word should have been spelled "stutter" which means to speak in such a way that the rhythm is interrupted by repetitions, blocks or spasms, or prolongations of sounds or syllables, sometimes accompanied by contortions of the face and body.
