Does ovulation occur before, after or during eggwhite jellylike discharge? I need clarity on when ovulation has occured and how long does it last? We had sex two days after jellylike discharge. Is it possible that conception could have taken place?

  • During if im not mistaken, and two days...the discharge is the extra lubricant your body makes so the sperm have an easier swim lol...

  • You are generally most fertile when you have clear, thin, super stretchy cervical mucus. However, what you described would carry a decent chance at conception, as it would most likely signal that you were very near ovulating.

  • I know........i've been reading that discharge should be clear, thin and stretchy. However, my discharge is always clear, jellylike almost like stretchy rubber. (sorry, TMI).

  • You are most fertile with your CM shows, However, you can conceive prior to ovulation and after. Typically you have to 2 days of ovulation and a total of 7 days that you are fertile! good luck to you!
