  • ummmm....vaginal. I cannot imagine WHY anyone would choose major surgery over a natural birth. I had to have a c section and would never want to go through that again!!

  • I prefer vaginal but sometimes it's medically needed for c-sections.

  • vaginal no doubt about it. c-sections have more risks, require surgery, take longer to heal and are very painful the first few weeks at home.

  • I was planning a natural childbirth with no drugs, I ended up with a c-section. It would have been great if my birth went as planned, but I'm glad modern science was able to save me and my baby too.

I guess I'd say vaginal because with a c-section I don't know how many more births I can have but with a vaginal birth there's no limit! (just in case)

  • Vaginal, I have never had a c-section. The idea of being cut open scares me.

  • I've never had the option for vaginal... I've only had c-sections, so I will have to say a c-section. I know what to expect and I heal very quickly from them. I was up and moving like normal within days. My OB told me I looked like I had never even had a major surgery.

  • i had one emergency cesarian and two all natural vaginal births. i would only do another cesarian as an absolute last resort!! birth is such a beautiful thing... a cesarian is a surgery. i still dont like the scar to be touched and it has been 5 years!

  • I had a c-section with my daughter in an emergency situations and it was a beautiful birth to me. If I have any more children it will be by c-section. No vaginals here.

TO Bettylou420: a c-section is surgery but also birth as well. Sorry you don't feel that way.

  • I would never CHOOSE a c/s. Yes, its birth, but is major, invasive surgery, with quadruple the risks of a vaginal birth. If I ever have one, its because the baby absolutely, positively, without question, is not coming out any other way.
