  • I don't think anyone is ever too old for a birthday party. If you child wants one, throw them one!

  • You are never too old to have a bday party, it really depends on the theme that's the kicker.

  • Just change the format! Sleep overs are good at this age. Forget the pinatas and pin the tail on the donkey, think more like scavenger hunts and truth or dare. Just be prepared with lots of late night snacks and ready to deal with tons of giggling.

  • If its for a girl you can try something different like taking a few friends for a mani-pedi party.

  • Why do you think the child is too old for a birthday party?

Do you not celebrate your birthday?

  • i had a camping bday party with a spider man theme as a joke for DH last year..sadly he was stung by a scorpion and the hospital visit was less than fun lol...he still gets cupcakes at work every year! i had bday parties all thru high school..they just changed formats like OP said. went from games to just throw up a tent in the yard and let the late night gossip commence! also, once older there were the dual sex parties where we all just hung out watched movies, ate junk food, and shot off fireworks and acted stupid. i loved those days!!
