Bin Laden issues new statement:

Video tape surfaces with Bin Laden saying U.S. policy in Pakistan has generated "new seeds of hatred and revenge against America. The message asserts that President Obama is proving that he is "walking the same road of his predecessors to build enmity against Muslims and increasing the number of fighters, and establishing more lasting wars."

Al-Jazeera, the Arabic-language TV network that aired the message, said the statement was "a voice recording by bin Laden," and a CNN analysis said the voice does indeed sound like the leader of the terrorist network that attacked the United States on September 11, 2001.

The remarks -- which would be bin Laden's first assessment of Obama's policy -- were believed to have been recorded several weeks ago at the start of a mass civilian exodus because of fighting in northwestern Pakistan.

Do you think its just propoganda or will Al Qaeda attack the U.S. again?

  • Do I think it's propaganda? I'm not going to sit around afraid, but no, I don't. They will attack us again. It's simply a matter of time.

  • I think Obama should repair our crumbling country FIRST - foreign relations will follow. If we can't even recover from a Hurricane a few years ago, how could we ever handle another 9/11???

  • Propaganda. Pakistan's late President Benazir Bhutto had said Osama Bin Laden was murdered live on a British televevision interview with David Frost of the BBC on 2nd November 2007 has Benazir Bhutto mentioning that Osama Bin Laden was murdered 2 minutes into the video.
In May, 2008, A top Taliban commander Baitullah Mehsud rejected reports that al-Qaeda leader, Osama Bin Laden, and other leaders are hiding in his region. "The al-Qaeda leader, Osama Bin Laden is dead, and the Afghan Taliban leader, Mullah Omar, are not in our territory," he said in an interview broadcast by a satellite television network.

  • Well since Obama is all about the Muslim world, maybe he should pay a visit to Bin Laden's Cave and talk it out since that seems to the trend these days.
