My husband spilled a frying pan worth of ground beef grease on the linoleum floor

We have mopped several times, but it still feels greasy. How can I get it up?

  • Dish detergent. =) It's a really good grease cutter. And then follow up with vinegar. Good luck!!

  • Great thanks! We have used Pinesol, Fabuloso, and Kaboom, but none of that helped.

  • So I got down on the floor and used a dishtowel with dish soap directly on the floor, no water. Just scrubbed with soap. Then I mopped it with vinegar water solution. I have a clean, non greasy floor! Thanks ladies.

  • Dawn dish liquid. They have actually taken truckloads of this product to clean up greasy spills on the highways. It was in the news.

  • If it ever happens again, rub some flour into it. It absorbs the grease.
