  • Do you have a basement? I would hang out there for a bit if you do because it tends to be cooler. Take a cool shower, drink some ice water or something cold. Keep the blinds closed so the sun doesn't come beating in and heat up the house even more. Sounds like you are kinda miserable today...good luck, hope you get it fixed soon!

If it is gonna be a couple the windows in the evenings and close them and the blinds and curtains when you get up in the morning. We used to have to do that before we had a place with A/C. It is a bit dark and depressing in the house but it definitely keeps it cooler. Just don't keep any ground level windows open for safety while you are sleeping.

  • Do you rent? If you rent, it is considered an emergency if your AC is broke when you're pregnant, and the temperature outside is over 85. That being said, your landlord needs to get it fixed today and tomorrow. Especially if you already have a medical condition.

Other than that, go hang out at a friend's house who has the AC going.
