  • My oldest son is almost 16 months and has Down Syndrome. He says "Mama", "Dada", "BubBub" (his baby brother), "Ball", "Up", and I'm pretty sure he's been saying "Egg". He also signs "More", "Eat", "Milk" (he uses it for drink, in general), "Baby" and "Dog". Don't think there's anything I'm forgetting there, but there may be, lol. There are other things that it's sounded like he said but he hasn't repeated.

  • At almost 16 months, she is saying mama, baba (dad), nana, dog, duck, ball, book, bye, box, yummy, Mer-Mer (her cousin), hi, and dzat (what's that) and she signs more, eat, milk, , ball, and baba. English is new for her, she just came home from China 10 weeks ago and up til then had only heard Mandarin.
