  • I was never married to my baby's father && am no longer with him, but we were together when my son was born so he has his last name.

  • My daughter has her fathers last name but we're getting married next September and I didn't want to go through the hassle of getting her name changed. When I was born my mom gave me her last name which was a good thing because I haven't seen my dad since I was 3. So I guess it depends on whether or not you think the father will be in your childs life or not IMO.

  • mine. i was 16 when i had muh bby, n i knew it was a big possibility that we wouldnt last forever, so i wanted muh DD to have muh last name cuz i knew no matter what, shed always have me. n sure enough, it worked out great cuz her daddy is signin his rights over so she woulda had his last name without havin an official fam member with that same name. lol
