Question about birds

This winter on my bird feeder I had some birds that would come in flocks of 20 or 30. Thay looked like finches. But they had these little bandit mask on. I am serious it looked like little bandit mask or maybe lone ranger mask. And NO they did not carry the seed off in a sack that said LOOT. Any ideas what they may be?

  • If they were sort of roundish, mostly black and grey....sounds like chickadees. They're so cute...I wish we'd get them here. It's too hot in Florida for them most of the year.
