  • WISE man.

  • This "destroying ourselves" seems to be a work in progress. Instead of being a Republic we are a democracy (majority rules) and heading towards becoming socialist. Talk about loss of freedom. I love just about every wise quote from this man.

  • Absolutely. The American spirit is alive and well and the American people would always stand firm in opposition to OBVIOUS threat to liberty. But what about the not so obvious... the hidden threats from within, like cancer, slowly eating away at freedom until there isn't enough left to sustain the American life we cherish. I think as a people we've lost a lot of that diligence and "rest on our laurels" believing liberty will always be here for us. We also tend to become easily riled at the OBVIOUS threats, sold on those ideas and misdirected. It's necessary to our way of life to stay sharp and educated and to question those people we entrust with the power to make our decisions.
