Should I Be Concerned About 2 Kids With Diaper Rash?

My 8 m/o son has had a diaper rash for a week and a half now.

Yesterday I started thinking he's allergic to the new diapers we tried.

But then when I changed my 2 y/o I noticed HE has one too.

My 10 y/o step daughter has been changing the 2 y/o

I guess he wants her to do it cause she acts more his age.

Well she didn't mention his rash,

And I know he's not allergic to his Pull Ups.

It's a hard textured rash, Bright Red, And ALL Over...

Including in his butt crack.

My 8 m/o son's is mostly above the penis and on his testies,

And isn't as rough as my 2 y/o son's rash...

But I think it's weird that they both have such bad rashes,

And neither of them are gettin better with Cream.

Should I switch creams?

Or take them to a doctor?

  • Put baby powder with aloe and vitamin E on it (baby powder comes that way) its either the blue cap or the yellow cap. But it works wonders, it dries it up and it's gone within 2 days. Butt paste and all those other things keep it moiste and you want to dry it out not keep it wet. So baby powder with aloe and vitamin e in it will clear it up so quick. I use it on both my kids plus they love the way it feels on their behinds. Stop using creams, if the baby powder doesn't work then you need to take them to the doctor.

  • So many things it could be. Laundry soap (remember washclothes/towels touch them even if they're in disposable diapers), bath soap, change in water, eating something acidic, food allergies.......the list goes on.
What's the cream you use? Try just A&D cream.
