How to show my love...

My SO has been hurt before by some former gf's/wife and makes comments sometimes about cheating, how can i assure him that I love him for him and would never cheat on him(has low self esteem) i always tell him i love him so (ps he doesnt think i am cheating) but i want to do something more, maybe write a really nice love note or something? Get him something nice (i dont have much money) make him something? What would you do or say?

  • I used to just leave random notes for my SO. Like, when I had to work the graveyard shift, I would leave a note on our bedroom door saying that I loved him and to have a good day, or if I knew he was having a bad day at work I would stop by his car and leave a note on his steering wheel (I have his spare key obviously) saying that I loved him and couldn't wait until he got home...little things like that.

  • It's the little things done everyday ... hold hands, rub his back, snuggle while your watching TV. During the day give him a quick call or text & let him know what's going on - if you saw something funny or interesting that made you think of him.

  • my husband works away form home so we don't see each other everyday :( but we randomly send text messages during the time we are apart that are kinda cheezy but one I sent him said "I love you like a stripper loves her pole" lol and then he replied "yeah well I love you like a termit loves wood" and on the days he gets to come home I usually make time for us to be alone so we can spend time together :)
