I am making homemade baby applesauce and ...

am wondering how long it will last in the freezer? I was given a few bags of apples from a friend and want to practice making applesauce now since my son is only 7 weeks.
If anyone has done this any tips would help. ty :o)

  • It will last a long time in the freezer. several months. I wouldn't put sugar in it, as long as the apples are sweet enough so the sauce isn't sour. I used to make it and run it through the blender, but if it is cooked well enough you wouldn't have to do that even.

  • Do you have to cook the apples or can you just put them in a food processor.
