  • What we did to get our dd to sleep all night (when she was 7 or 8 months maybe younger) and it still works (she's 2 in a week): We moved her bedtime up so she was going earlier than what we thought.. she goes at 730, and we have a routine.. bath song book bed. We play classical music for her mostly to drown us out, but we found since she was an infant she likes it to soothe her. It took a month or so of keeping her bedtime strict to really get it down. Now, when 7:30 rolls around it's like Pavlov rang his bell and she is ready to go lay down! For a while, she'd head up the stairs herself!

  • We didn't make any ritual for bedtime. For us, it was too much to do nightly so they got a bottle, change and put into pj's and put into bed with a few pats on the head. We had a radio for white noise but also the aquarium thingy that played music and lit up (Fisher price). Bottle had cereal in it to help keep them stuffed.

  • If they get a bottle or sippy cup when they wake up only put water in it, after that just let them cry back to sleep.
