I need quick high fiber Vegetable Recipes for kids?

  • Open a can of beans. Whatever kind they like. My two year old son loves Bush's beans in a lot of flavors and also Ranch Beans.

    Another good fiber food choice is fruits like cherries, blueberries, raisins. Stay away from bananas.

    My son likes brocolli grounded up with Mrs. Dash seasoning and cheddar cheese.

    Maybe try hummus on whole wheat toast, too.

  • bean burritoes... all you need is, refried beans and spread on whole wheat tortillas, maybe add salsa four flavor.. microwave maybe a minute and fold the ends in as you roll up the tortilla.
    mild chili with different sizes of beans, like butter beans, black beans, navy beans,.
    get a bag of fresh spinach, a little lemon juice and a little garlic....saute' garlic and lemon on high heat add spinach, to high heat cook until it is JUST LIMP, not soggy. If you over cook it and it is soggy make a quiche, add chopped cooked chicken and chopped brocolli to 6 beaten eggs with a 1/4 cup milk to pie crust season with pepper and parsley, bake at 350 for 35 minutes.
    sweet potatoes are high in fiber and you bake those the same as a regular potato.
    or you can try ziplock steam fresh microwave bags. Excellent for steaming veggies and potatoes

  • Why don't the kids eat what the adults eat?

    whole wheat noodles and broccoli with peanut sauce
    whole wheat noodles with beans, spinach, cheese and sauce
    raw veggies and hummus
    stir-fried veggies and tofu with ginger sauce
