Is an increase in having gas a sign of pregnancy?

Just curious. Please no bashing, thanks.

  • I would wait a week or so. The dollar store tests worked better for me. With my son I have four negative tests and finally a positive ate 6-8 weeks pregnant. they were all expensive tests. then with this baby I was almost four weeks pregnant and got all three at the dollar store and they were all positive.

  • I didn't get gassy until about eight weeks or so. But it could be.

  • I've been gassy for the past week, a lot more than usual. Haven't had any change in diet. Also, I am 3 days late. I took a prego test last week that said negative. Had cramping Sunday and really severe cramping Monday (thought for sure I was getting my period). Didn't happen. Any advice? Should I take a test or wait?

  • Maybe you could get a pregnancy test at the pharmacy, I think that will be a more effective strategy to detect pregnancy than passing gas.

  • I would wait a week then retake a test, if you are pregnant it won't go away just for waiting another week.
