Can a baby eat those little puffs if they only have two bottom teeth?

I heard they melt in your mouth. Is there any nutritional value in them, or are they just for learning how to pick stuff up?

  • yes they can eat them. my daughter eats them now and she doesn't have any teeth, she just sucks on them til they dissolve to nothing. im not sure if they have nutritional value, it might be comparative to a snack for them.

  • Yup... they do dissolve pretty quick. And it just so happens I've got a can of 'em right in front of me! lol

    1/2 cup is 25 calories. 1 g sugar, 10 mg potassium, 6 g carbs, 10% iron, 15% vit E, 10% zinc, 4% calcium.

  • They're really just for practice, little to no nutritional value. If they cannot put them in their mouth and you have to feed them each one, then tehy are too little...teeth or no teeth.

  • yah, they can eat them. muh DD eats them allllll the time. theyre basically empty food, no real nutrition, but its not bad at all. and yah, they are mainly used to learn to pick up food and feed urself on ur own.

  • Yes they can. I started giving them to my son when he had his two bottom teeth. I think he was around 7-8 months. He loved them.

  • My lil ones eat them. One has no teeth and one has two bottom. I like the cheese puffs better though.

  • It's a little snack, like you said more of a practice tool. I ate one and they do dissolve really quick. They do have sugar in them, but some are fortified with vitamins so they are probably better than some other things you could possibly give them.
