How soon can you drive after having a vaginal delivery??

  • my friend was told as soon as she felt comfortable. I was told to wait two weeks post c-section

  • According to the dr? 7 days. According to ME who had to take my kids to school and pick them up and had no one to do it....2 days (the weekend).

  • As long as you aren't dizzy, didn't lose a lot of blood, etc and are otherwise fine - pretty soon. Most drs do say 7 days. I drove after my second birth when she was 3 days old... my other babies I was probably closer to 2 weeks.

  • This sounds crazy but I really didnt feel all "that" bad after delivering. I was really sore down there for about 2 days but I think I was driving 4 days later.
