What about using Canola Oil in a cake? Would it taste and bake the same?

  • I've been using Applesauce instead of oil in alot of my baking. It works good too

  • Yes. We have been using canola oil for a few years now. Can't tell the difference. I've also used the apple sauce and coconut oil in cakes. I love coconut for the frosting because making it with butter gives it a yellowish hue.

  • I was also going to say about apple sauce. It keeps its really moist, while being much healthier.
