mucus plug and Labor

How soon after loosing your mucus plug does labor usually begin???

  • could be today, could be a couple weeks. mucus plugs don't tell you exactly when you'll have your baby..but probably pretty soon!

  • I was already having light contractions, when i lost my mucus plug.

  • I agree it could be anytime, but i went into labor 2 hours after i lost mine and had my daughter not even 12 hours later :)

    I never noticed if i lost one with my son. He was my first so i had no idea what to look for.

  • I have been losing mine for the past couple of days (at least i think so) and so far there has been nothing more going on =( due next sat.

  • I lost my mucus plug a whole month before i went into labor, and i was a week over due. good luck hun.

  • first my water broke and then my mucus plug came out all at once and it was yellowish...
