Since several states passed gay marriage bans..

are inter-racial marriages next on the chopping block in them since we are going backwards instead of forwards? I've seen a lot of talk about inter-racial relationships as of late and quite a few people that think they are wrong. When are we voting on that in Cali?

  • Never. Even if people had that sentiment, there aren't enough to make it happen.

Interesting to note that the largest demographic blocks to pass Prop 8 were blacks, Hispanics and Asians, in larger numbers than caucasians. That information comes from Prop. 8 supporters who held a rally in San Diego last week.

  • I really do not think you can compare the two. Kinda of apples and oranges KWIM?
I think if two adults love each other and want to commit to each other, they should legally be able to do just that, and have all the legal benefits of that commitment. JMO
