Dark under eye circles

I have always had extreme dark under eye circles but since I had my daughter they seem way worse. I researched it and found that lack of sleep or diet doesn't really effect it at all. It's all genetics so I know I cant get rid of them. I cant wear eyeliner or even most eyeshadows but I really want to. So how can I cover them without making it look caked on and how can I make it last because my makeup always wears off? I'm going out tomorrow night and would love to do some nice makeup. Please help!

  • I think the hemmoroid cream is dangerous. There are tons of products out there. But I used one by swiss ives because of cheap price and it did lighten some. I got the dark spots when pregnant and they didn't leave. I use a concealer from mary kay, but there are some cheaper kinds that are good too. try cover girl or maybelline ny. I would start with the cheapest and work my way up. They last a long time, because you just use a little. good luck. There is an eye shadow group on here, they might have some tips.

  • Dark circles under the eyes are a common sign of allergies, especially dairy or wheat.

  • Try using a yellow concealer from Physician's Formula. The yellow helps cover up dark circles and the green helps to cover up red spots. The dark under eye circles we so dread are actually caused by leaky capillaries and are very similar to bruises. The skin under your eyes is thin and translucent, that is why they appear so dark.

  • Avon makes a really few really good creams depending on your age and skin care needs. The Anew Concealor is also a lifesaver for me. Especially on those nights when my son won't sleep! lol. You can get them at www.youravon.com/dhullum use code fsany for free shipping

  • I have long suffered hereditary dark circles and have tried everything. Odd but true ... cut potato slices and place on eyes then relax for 15 min. I swear it lessens the darkness.
The best products thus far are the following....A product called keromask by Christy ( hard to find.. usually at exclusive salons or out of UK). Also I find that Clinique's all about eyes concealer works almost equally as well. I then top either of those with YSL touche eclat. ( This has light reflecting particles ).
They are a little pricey but you will save by not spending a fortune experimenting.

Check out this amazing video on concealing under eye circles!! I haven't tried the Derma Colour myself because no place around here sells it and a catalog alone is $15, but it looks amazing if you can get your hands on some!
