Fruit problems..

Okay so DS can eat any vegetable by itself, you know baby food duh. But when it comes to the fruits, he HAS to have them in rice cereal and only half a jar at a time. If he has them by itself, his face gets red and blotchy. And if that isn't odd, I have this thing that you can put ice cubes or fruit into and it has netting so he can suck on it and chew and won't get seeds or small pieces so he can't choke. So I put a piece of watermelon in there and he eats it just fine with no blotchiness or red face..anyone know whats going on :[

  • It's not just bananas. We've tried those, applesauce, peaches, pears. And he can eat them IF they're mixed in with his rice cereal, but not alone.

  • he just might not be ready for them. I would ask your dr and probably stop feeding him fruit for a couple of months the n reintroduce them one at a time spaced out by a week each.
