Why do young girls wear make up to look older and women wear it to look younger?

  • Because the media is flashing that kids need to wear makeup to look beautiful and mature and older women are no longer sexy and have to look like a 20 year old.

  • Your question basically answers its-self. Lets face it everyone wants to look /be around that "perfect age"... maybe 21-25 ( when they think they look the best) and no one wants to go any older.. sorry folks it happens.

  • Lol I've had to wear make up since I was 13 so I'd actually look my age.

    I really hate being short, I'm 18 and everyone thats never met me before thinks I'm 14 or 15 =[

  • because the older i get the less interested my hubby gets. also when i was younger people used to think he was my dad. that's annoying.
