What do you think of the spelling kailei for the name [kay-lee]

Its my daughters name .....and well all i did was leave the gh off lol.

  • It looks like KY-lee, my daughters is Alysha and people tend to say Elijha or Elisha. Sometimes i wish I just spelled it Alicia.

  • Not bad, but since I spent the beginning of my life in Hawaii (Army brat, lol), I am conditioned that "lei" is pronounced "lay". I would have thought it was Hawaiian and probably would pronounce it "Kay-lay"

  • It's pretty but I think she's going to get it mispronounced a lot. I would have thought Ky-lee as well because I have a cousing named Kai pronounced Ky.
