Are we able to shed the fat off our bodies by drinking lots of water?

I just started drinking water 1 week ago(and cut out alittle on the sodas) and it seems to me like I don't feel as bloated or fatty looking around my belly I mean it is still there but not as it use to look I am able to close my jeans now....yea! but I do need to work on the flab. Has anyone made that change?
