  • When my dd got diahhreah it was just water, like nothing solid everything soaked into her diaper, and it had a different smell, really bad ya know. When you are used to seeing it everyday, you just know when it changes, it can be hard to tell but you will be able to.

  • It will smell BAD and there will be a lot of it. I'm not talking like, one diaper blow out, but repeated ones.

  • How old is baby? For the first couple of months: The stools are normally yellow, yellow-green or tan. It's not abnormal for an occasional stool to be green. The odor should be mild, and not particularly unpleasant. The consistency may be described as being similar to scrambled eggs, custard, pea soup, or even prepared mustard. There are often small, seedy-looking solid particles in the stool.
n addition, most young babies will have at least two to five bowel movements every 24 hours for the first several months, although some babies will switch to less frequent but large bowel movements at about 6 weeks.
In the first few weeks many BF babies poop at every feeding.
