What the heck does DH and DD mean!?

I keep seeing the letters DD as people referring to their kids and DH for their hubbies. What exactly do these initials stand for? O_O I seriously don't know and I'm getting tired of now knowing. I hope it's not a dumb question!

  • It is not a dumb question.I had to get used to them as well..DD is Dear Daughter DS is Dear son

    DH is Dear Husband..somewhere on cafe mom there is a list or certain groups post them.. there are sooooo many its hard to keep could also Google text abbreviations & you should get some kind of site with a whole list.

  • DH - Dear Husband (darling, damn, what ever you want the "D" to stand for)

    DD - Daughter

    DS - Son
