Washing Cloth diapers

I am using cloth diapers and i was wondering how other moms washed them. My son is BF and so when he soils diapers i cant just flush it. Its way to watery to get out without soaking and scrubbing. Any tricks?

  • So you dont want to soak and scrub?! just wash?! all i could say is rinse and use spray and wash with resolve power (it gets EVERYTHING out) and then wash with dreft or some kind of detergent thats not harsh!!

  • Well I don't Scrub by hand i just run the scrub cycle in the washer like 3 or 4 times. They are still stained though.

  • i scrub a little in the toilet. if you hold it in the water flow while flushing it helps a lot (just dont let go!) then i wrap it in a rag so it wont drip water on the way to the laundry room.

  • Put the dirty ones in a bucket with half vinegar and half water. You can add some essential lavender oil (anti-septic and smells nice)
