  • Why forgive? People are only deserving of forgiveness if they ask for it, and are TRULY sorry. As long as the hurt doesn't consume you, and you are able to go on with your life, then there is no need to forgive the person who hurt you.

In cases like this, the person asking for forgiveness is attempting to absolve themselves of the guilt. if you are not ready to forgive, don't. The saying "time heals all wounds" is true, but remember there is no time limit! :o)

  • I don't think its about forgiveness, its about not having the energy to hate all your life. You can't waste your life hating someone forever. We grow up and move on. So don't push yourself into it- embrace how you feel right now because it will eventually lead to healing.
