Would you ever vote for a candidate that was not Christian?

What if the Candidate was fully qualified and able, moral, trustworthy, loving, caring and compassionate but not a Christian. Would you vote for this person, or would you bypass him for a lesser qualified Candidate who was a Christian?

  • Absolutely! I must ask, What in the hell does religion have to do with politics? 2 very different issues. Besides that though, a good commander in chief would not let his religious beliefs effect his presidency.

  • All who voted for our current president did not vote for a Christian and he is all for abortion even late term so I don't see that as moral or any of the other things you mentioned.

  • Joe LIEBERMAN, Jewish, wasn't all that bad.

Mitt ROMNEY, Mormon, was a good choice.

  • Anon, he is not "for" late term abortion..he is for a woman's right to chose. I believe there is a difference.
Only want government to dictate things when it suites you, right?

  • IMO Anyone who would not vote for a candidate because of their religion does not deserve their right to vote!

  • of course! personality & skill are far more important than religion when it comes to something as important as the President. i have met plenty of non-Christians who are upstanding, moral ppl just as i have met Christians who are disgusting ppl w/ questionable morals.
