  • you're adopting a baby and wanting to nurse? then you'll need to induce lactation. Martha Sears actually did it with their 8th child, who was adopted. You need to take medicines, and pump, BEFORE adopting. Months before...

  • There is a great website called www.asklenore.com. It is very helpful. I also found a lactation consultant who has had other mothers who adopted breast feed. For me I could never get enough milk but I did nurse her with the supplemental feeder.

  • Check these sites out, I want to do the same. I did BF my son with the lactaid and it was WAY better than the SNS, so now I am doing alot of research to be prepared this time.

  • I'd also try your local La Leche League chapter. It'll be a hard road, but I wish you the best. My mother did it for a little while with my baby brother. That was 26 years ago and definitely not a popular option.

  • I did this, I started pumping, taking Reglan and drinking milkmaid herbal tea. Good luck
