Is there anything you can eat to avoid getting bit my insects?

I don't like to smell like the bug spray when I'm just hanging out in my yard so is there any herb or any particular thing I can eat to make them avoid biting me??

Maybe this is a silly question! haha...

  • I've heard that garlic is supposed to keep bugs away. I don't recommend eating alot of raw garlic or even minced b/c it does make a person reek, but then again, maybe that's how it works! LOL

Also you could dab on Tea Tree Oil, and it can be bought at herbal stores. It comes in a small little bottle and is an oil. Use a cotton ball to dab it around the ankles and even around the elbows. See if that works for ya. :)

  • Awesome, I just re-read my question! I should proof read before I send, now it won't let me edit. I meant, "by" insects, not "my" insects, I don't have them as pets...

Anyway..you girls knew what I meant..
