  • My daughter and I love to read Backyardigans books. They are good 1st readers, based on the episodes and only cost $3.99 apiece. Sometimes Barnes and Nobles even runs them at buy 2 get 1 free. We also like Little Einstein books. Those are also based on the show.

  • There is a book called Pinkalicious about a little girl who eats too many cupcakes and turns pink. It is too cute. My 6 year old also love the Junie B. Jones series by Barbara Park. She usually reads 1-2 chapters a night to me.
