I am wondering how many moms out there did not get their babies vaccinated? I am not here to judge by any means, but am just curious. A friend of mine is not getting her baby vaccinated, and I was told to keep my baby away from her baby until mine is vaccinated at least, to be safe.

  • There are tons of unvaccinated children out there these days, unfortunately. And a lot of biased, incomplete information out there, too. We as a culture don't remember what it was like when a lot of these diseases took children's lives all the time... Vaccinations when properly administered save so many lives. It's too bad so many well-intentioned parents are putting their children AND other peoples' children at risk.

  • Anon 7:06 I completely agree! My dd is vaccinated and I think EVERY mommy should do their OWN research and make a decision that is best for their family.

  • my dd got sick everytime she got her shots, really sick, she ended up in the er 3 times for her fevers, she threw up everything i gave her, she had liquid poos, and i mean straight liquid. so i stopped her vaccinations for a while. not because im afraid of what will happen if she gets them, but because i dont want to make her sick like she got. shell be 2 soon and im gonna get her vaccinations going again, she was tiny, still is shes only 20 pounds. and when she was a baby i guess her body just couldnt handle it. but also if your children are vaccinated then why does it matter if others arent? im not trying to be mean or anything just curious

  • My daughter is up to date with her vaccinations, but I am going to delay her 1 year shots. She will still get them, just not quite so fast. I also agree with anon. I find it sad how many parents are not vaccinating their children.

  • It doesnt necessarily matter that other children are not vaccinated to the point where im gonna make a deal out of it.. but most of us were all vaccinated when we were younger, why should these children have to worry about getting all of these diseases? Just because some of the diseases haven't been seen in the US for many years does not mean that they could not be brought back over by other countries or whatever.

Im still not judging, just stating my opinion.
