  • We did something similar to the shell game; we would put a ball under one of 3 cups from a stacking set (they were different sizes and colors), and we would mix them up and ask the babies where the ball was. After a while they started hiding the ball and trying to do it for us! They also enjoyed sitting in the floor and rolling a ball back and forth. We also stacked blocks and knocked them down. We made different sounds with various household items (toys, bowls, bottles, spoons, empty boxes, paper towel rolls, etc.) by hitting them or blowing on them. We made tunnels to go through and used flashlights inside. Everything we did, we talked a lot defining colors, sizes, shapes, etc. We sang songs with hand motions like Itsy Bitsy Spider. We encouraged them to let go of the items they pulled up on and reach for our hands. Well, that's some of the things we did. Have fun!
