D and C questions

Can anyone tell me about what a D and C is. Is it an out patient procedure. I guess I am looking for someone who has had one done and what they went through. Thanks in advance for your answers.

  • D and C's are used for other procedures. She never said that she was getting an abortion, she might have had a missed MC.

  • OP - Thank you Jenn. I never did say anything about an abortion. It's because of a MC. How quickly you assume the worst!

  • If you're looking for answers- I would just google D and C. There is a lot of information on it. It is usually an outpatient procedure. But I would also call your doctor's office to see how they handle them.
